Edisto Island - November 2015

As some of you know, we went to Edisto Island in November to join Ryan's family for Thanksgiving. As always, it was a blast, but it was our first time experiencing it cold. The night temperatures were in the low forties and most days were in the forties and fifties. It still didn't stop the kiddos from playing in the ocean and Annabelle seemed to enjoy her first official beach trip!

We didn't arrive until after 9 PM, but we had promised Reagan that we would go to the beach when we got there. The first pictures are of us keeping that promise at 10 PM. Annabelle's first official beach picture!

These are beach pics from the week:

Riding bikes. One of my favorite places in Edisto is this spot on the bike path. It's like you're in a jungle!

Thanksgiving Day!

Cousins!

Ethan making Trenton, his only boy cousin, laugh.

Random:
Yes, that's my big, fat butt in the background. I couldn't figure out how to crop it out of the frame.
Ryan cooked up a seafood feast! Since the other Lowry's don't much care for seafood, Ryan and I pretty much ate all of it. 16 crabs, 4 seared scallops, 1 flounder, 2 lbs. shrimp, and a dozen oysters! It was delicious! Nothing like driving back from the market with your grocery bags moving. ;-)
This last picture is Annabelle sucking raw oysters out of the shell. Like mother like daughter. Not sure if that's healthy for babies, but she sure loved it!
