After reading your last 2 posts it is official. Tyree and Reagan are definitely related. They have both been strong and holding their heads up from day one. It must be their super strong moms :). Also they both make the "muppet face". Looking at those pic make me realize how much Tyree has grown already. We can't wait to meet Reagan.
As for what she can see, I looked it up right after I had Tyree because she would get fixated on something and stare forever. Research say's that newborns can see very well but only at a distance of 8 - 14 inches from their face. Everything else is extremely blurry. They say that must be nature's (God's) way, because a nursing mothers face is about 9-12 inches away from her baby. They don't start noticing color until about 3 months, but they do notice things with a big contrast. Blacks on white, and bright lights. That's why you will find them staring at the lights a lot or the window. Also studies show that they are drawn to more roundish shapes. Which is why they like to look at your face, especially your eyes or hairline because of the contrast. They will even choose to look at sketches of human faces over sketches of other objects. By 3 months they can see about halfway across the room, by 6 months all the way across the room, and their sight should be completely developed at a year old. Sorry that was so long but I found it very interesting.
I found it interesting too Jesse. I wonder if some babies see better right off than others? Is that why Reagan kept her eyes open in the womb? Just curious. Yes... those girls are certainly related, and I can't wait to get them with Gage!

Thanks for the info! I didn't know all that about Tyree, I'm glad you told me. I agree, they come from good stock :-)
